Artist Statement

I am an artist based in Adelaide, South Australia, working primarily in oils. Drawing and painting have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, they’ve become a way for me to reflect and notice the beauty in the world around me.

A lot of my inspiration comes from time spent in nature: walking, observing, and capturing moments through photos or sketches. My paintings often begin loosely and gradually take shape as I refine them layer by layer.

I’m especially drawn to the way light moves through and changes the landscape. These subtle changes are what I try to hold onto when I paint.
