Are you looking for a painting that’s made just for you? I offer a limited number of custom oil painting commissions each year.

What You Can Commission

I create original oil paintings inspired by light nature, and mood. Clients often come to me for:

  • A favourite place or landscape

  • A painting to suit a particular room or palette

  • A meaningful gift

How It Works

  1. Reach Out
    Send an email to hello@maryzammit.com or fill out the form below with a little about what you’re imagining. Include details like size or budget, colour preferences, subject or inspiration, and deadline (if you have one).

  2. Quote & Timeline
    I’ll reply with a quote, proposed timeline, and framing / shipping options. You’re welcome to ask questions or refine the brief before we begin.

  3. Booking & Deposit
    A 50% deposit confirms your booking and secures materials and studio time.

  4. Painting Process
    Once we’ve agreed on the concept, I’ll begin. I typically share some progress photos during the process. Please allow 8 - 12 weeks for completion, depending on size and studio schedule.

  5. Final Payment & Delivery
    When your painting is complete, I’ll send final images. The remaining 50% is due before delivery or pickup.

Materials & Framing

Each painting is created using professional artist materials, including high-quality paints and locally made canvas and frames. If you'd like guidance, I'm happy to suggest framing options that complement both the artwork and the space it will live in.

Shipping & Pickup

  • Free tracked shipping Australia-wide for artwork under 90 cm.

  • International shipping available on request.

  • Studio pickup available from Largs Bay, South Australia.

All paintings are carefully packaged using protective materials, with recycled and plastic-free options wherever possible.
